Pack update time! Sorry I haven't been on in a while, but it is playoff time, so.. yeah. But now that (sniff) the Canucks are out, I have some time to blog. I recently while digging around in the basement found a box of my brother's old hockey cards and in consolation of the Canucks being out, he graciously gave them to me. So, here we go:
HIGHLIGHTS:
96-97 McDonald's Pinnacle IceBreakers Pavel Bure-Awesome shot, but hard to scan-whatta goal.
91-92 Pro Set +/- Leader Nicklas Lidstrom-Already a plus minus leader midway through his rookie season-just shows how great he is already.
98-99 Collector's Choice Daniel Briere-Not a fan of locker room shots, but it is a Briere rookie, so it's good.
1992 Ultimate Boom-Boom Geoffrion-A nice card of a legend, I like how it also has his playoff and all-star stats.
94-95 Topps Premier Zigmund Palffy-A rookie card of one of the best Slovakian Players ever. Nice.
90-91 Pro Set Bob Gainey-Even if it is a coach card, it's still nice to get a Gainey in my collection.
90-91 Topps Dale Hawerchuk-A very nice classic card right before he was traded from the Jets.
89-90 Topps Brian Trottier-It seems like quite a few legends were traded in 1990-Hawerchuk and now Trottier.
1992 Ultimate Ed Giacomin-A nice action shot from the days before masks.
1992 Ultimate Ted Lindsay-Yet another legend added to my collection from this box.
90-91 Pro Set Peter Bondra-An RC of a very underrated player-but one of the best Caps ever.
Thanks for reading, and keep posted for more updates! Hockey card stories, masks, and more coming soon!
