Hockey Card Stories #4-My Strange Amount of Canucks and....91-92 Pro Set???

As the playoffs are nearing the climax, there are fewer games on, so I again have time to post. For one Christmas, I received a giant binder of..wouldn't you know it...hockey cards! This binder was only full of players that currently played on the Canucks at the time, around 2009-10, I believe, so it was chock-full of Sedins, Edlers, Salos, Raymonds, and Mitchells. Strangely enough, it did not contain any Keslers, Burrows, or goalies of any kind. (I got my first Burrows in a special way, as I mentioned in my first Hockey Card Stories entry). This binder also contained many duplicates, which probably amount to 50% of my Canucks collection. Often, people put duplicates away so only one of the cards is displayed. I choose to display all of my cards, resulting in some very repetitive sheets. The card I have with the most duplicates is a 09-10 Upper Deck Alexander Edler, of which I have 16 copies.

The most of one Canucks player I have belongs to Daniel Sedin, with 65 cards.

So yeah. I like the Canucks a lot, ok?

Now what's with that Pro Set thing you mentioned??

Well, for some reason, through garage sales and older siblings and presents, I have collected a massive amount of 91-92 Pro Set cards. I don't have a checklist, but I'm guessing that I have most of the series, many of which I have more than one of. To get a small idea of what I'm talking about, here's just 2 pages of the collection.
What sucks is that they're not even great cards. Kind of a boring design, and usually with sub-par photos. I don't wanna diss them though, because it feels like those cards are a part of me. (sentimentality with Pro Set. I am definitely losing it)

Thanks for reading and check back soon for more updates!
